Our Achievements

Our client is a global investment manager for international and global bonds covering entities such as Corporate Pensions, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Trusts. They have offices in the UK, US, Dubai and Singapore, with the finance team being based in the UK. A key requirement and challenge was around automating their reporting and group consolidation of their global entities. An essential part of our strategy was recommending a solution that would be able to prepare a trial balance in the local currency of the entities, as well as the group consolidation currency alongside various currency revaluations needed on bank accounts, debtors, creditors, some assets and liabilities. Furthermore, it would enable the client to access all values in reporting currency to the month-end rates as required by accounting legislation.

We continue to support and improve their processes on an ad-hoc basis, an example being the setup of their MTD gateway and filings directly from the system.

Simtrava is a group of companies managing approximately 50 franchise stores across the Costa Coffee, Pita Pit, and Warrens Bakery brands. Integra Global is a health insurance provider to individuals, families and companies, predominantly servicing expats or those with unique insurance needs. With offices in the UK, Munich and Dubai, the company experienced rapid growth which resulted in a number of inefficient processes that later presented real business challenges.

4PointZero worked directly with the Integra team through these challenges in order for them to embrace the changes we were looking to make, whilst emphasizing the long-term benefits and providing additional tailored training where required. We were then able to centralise elements of the business which had previously been managed by different companies to lower ongoing compliance costs. We also helped Integra Global set up a new entity in Germany to plan for possible Brexit issues and created new structured processes for their finance function to increase efficiency.

Complyport is a Professional Services company specialising in providing compliance and regulatory consultancy services to companies in the UK and overseas.

We were approached by Complyport as they were looking for a secure way to host and access a number of cloud-based 3rd party products (child applications) they wished to use in conjunction with their clients through the cloud in an attempt to modernise their service. We were able to build the single sign-on connection into their existing applications in a few days thus creating a collaborative way for them to work with their customers, with both parties accessing & using the same information. This reduced email traffic significantly and created a single source of data without the use of multiple versions of excel spreadsheets that is easily accessible 24/7 through an internet browser.

At the same time, we were able to link in their internal company systems so that their staff could also access all of their business systems within the same Portal. Users only see the applications specific to their role so there is no possibility of a client seeing internal business systems unless their business uses them themselves and has their own environment/credentials.
